Rademakers Gallery presents a new collection at PAN Amsterdam celebrating the landscape, contemporary craftsmanship and the natural world.
The presentation includes new pieces from my Eternal Movement series, inspired by my experiences of the movement of water.
While sailing across the oceans, I experienced the movement of water in all its intensity. The rhythm of the waves, the flowing forms shaped by wind and current, and the ever-changing patterns on the water’s surface continue to inspire my pieces. The sea remains a constant source of inspiration for Eternal Movement.
For the gilded interiors, I use the refined verre églomisé technique, which dates back to classical antiquity and was revived in the 18th century by the Frenchman Jean-Baptiste Glomy (1711–1786).
