The magic of glass is an exhibition of extremes: figurative alongside abstract work, colourless glass alongside richly varied colours, installations, light-hearted alongside heavier works, useless objects alongside user-friendly pieces. Work that has arisen from social engagement and work that has no such pretensions. Humorous, alienating, surreal, monumental, honest. Work by established artists as well as up-and-coming young artists.
