The site is located in the Tamaho area in the Gotemba city, which has expanded at the foot of Mt. Fuji. There was equipped the monument that would be regarded as a landmark of the area and symbolize Mt. Fuji which is representative of Japan and Gotemba city. Barbara Nanning was bought into as an artist for the monument. She is a Dutch sculptor and keeps her creative activity, being greatly influenced by Japanese artistic culture and landscape. Red-burning earth energy, power of life, and light that gives to darkness. The monument shall draw bright scenery on public space in the branch and symbolize that Gotemba is the city with a great earth energy concealed.
