Nautilus IJburg Amsterdam (NL) 2008

The entrance gate of the Theo Frenkelhof in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Nautilus, imagines an eccentric landscape. It invites to submerging in a magical fantasy world, by showing a different reality, which could as well be located somewhere in the universe, under the sea or in the interior of the earth, yet always in the here and now.

Particular to the project is that the purchasers and the tenants of the Theo Frenkelhof were given the art work as a gift from de Alliantie and from Waterstad 3.
